Privacy
This page explains how the Little Karami Chat product handles information. It is product information, not a GDPR, SOC 2, or ISO certification.
Information We Collect
The product collects the information needed to create an account, deliver messages, and operate the service. That includes account details you submit, messages and attachments you send, and technical data from the app or browser you use.
How We Use Information
Information is used to authenticate you, deliver and display conversations, operate contacts, scan uploaded files, send a push notification when that platform supports it, and keep the service reliable. It is not sold as a marketing list on this website.
Account Data
Account data includes the identifiers and profile fields you save, plus the password hash. Passwords are stored with Argon2id. This site does not ask you to create a password.
Messages and Communication
Messages, including text and the attachments the product supports, are stored so they can be delivered and shown to participants. This release is not end-to-end encrypted messaging. Operators of the service can access stored content as required to run and protect the product.
Device and Technical Data
The apps and the web client send the technical data needed to keep a session, load messages, and diagnose failures. That can include device or browser details, app version, and connection information such as an IP address.
Push Notifications
On Android, the signed-in app can register a push token so a message can notify the device when you are offline. iOS push is not part of the current platform status on this site. Push tokens are not shown on this website.
Security
The live service uses HTTPS. Access to conversations requires an authenticated session. Uploads are gated by a malware scan that fails closed in production when scanning is unavailable. These controls are not a certification.
Data Retention
This page does not publish a single retention period. Different records are kept for different operational reasons, including delivering history to the other participant and handling abuse. Do not read this as a promise that every record disappears on a fixed day.
Your Choices
You can sign out, block contacts, and use the language controls inside the product. This website can be read in English or Chinese. Choosing a website language does not change your account.
Account Deletion
Account deletion is available in the product. Deletion disables the account. Messages may still be retained where the product needs them for the other participant or for abuse handling. This page does not claim that deletion erases every backup immediately.
